SBI PO Syllabus 2016 - Exam Pattern & Selection Process

SBI PO Syllabus 2016 SBI Probationary Officer Exam Pattern & Selection Process: State Bank of India Probationary Officer Written Test Syllabus is necessary for each aspirants. Candidates who had applied for SBI PO Recruitment and are going to appear in the examination held in June 2016. Please we sure that you had read complete sbi po syllabus before appearing in the written test.

The syllabus of Probationary Officer written test is necessary because if you will prepare your exam according to the sbi po syllabus and sbi po exam pattern then your chance to qualify in the sbi po exam will be increase. Each candidates must concentrate with your syllabus and exam pattern to be the topper of the SBI PO Recruitment Exam 2016.

SBI PO Syllabus 2016

Final Selection in the post of probationary officer will be made in 3 Phases. Phase 1 will called preliminary examination. It will consist objective type 100 question from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability for 1 hour duration.

Candidates who will secure passing parks in each three section of Phase I will declare qualify for next round. 20 times more candidates will declare qualify for next round against vacancy.

SBI PO Exam Pattern

Candidates who declare qualify in Phase I will come in next round Phase II (Main Examination). It is the online examination (Computer Based) and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.

i) Objective Test The objective Test of 2 hours in Phase II consist of 4 section with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows. Candidates should qualify in each section by securing passing marks.
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

ii) Descriptive Test: The descriptive test will be for an hour duration with obtaining 50 marks. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). Candidate must be secure passing marks in description test.

Phase III: In this phase, there will be 20 marks of Group Discussion and 30 marks for Interview. Bank's Recruitment Board will arrange aggregate marks of candidates inn both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test in descending order in each category. Bank will call for adequate number of candidates for Group Discussion and Interview. Qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

SBI PO Final Selection & Merit List Preparation Process

There will not Phase I (Preliminary) marks to be add into final merit preparation for sbi po vacancy. SBI will add Phase II & Phase III marks for preparation of merit list. Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category. Final selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidate in each category.
