CBSE IIT JEE Advanced Admit Card 2017: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will organize a written test namely Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. JEE Advanced will be conduct on 22nd May 2017 for candidates to qualify admission in IITs. The examination will be conduct for admission to Undergraduate Engineering B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. programmes in IITs and other centrally funded technical institution etc.

IIT JEE (Advanced) shall have two papers, Paper-1 for B.E./ B.Tech candidates and Paper-2 for B. Arch./ B. Planning. It will be depend on candidates to attempt the question paper either Paper-1 or Paper-2 or Both seeking admission desired course. All the papers will be objective type questions instead of drawing test.
Process to Download IIT JEE Advanced Admit Card 2017
Currently the notice to Download Admit Card for JEE (Advanced) 2017 is showing that the admit card/ hall ticket will be available after few days. So we expect that there some issue regarding the availability of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 admit card.
The process to download IIT JEE Advanced Admit Card 2017 is instructed as below:
- Aspirants are required to visit the JEE (Advanced) – 2017 website which is www.jeeadv.nic.in
- The new website AdmitCardInfo will be open containing various details.
- Write the require details as roll number, date of birth (dob), board details of class 12th, captcha in prescribed box and submit it.
- Now, you will see your JEE Advanced admit card 2017 on your computer/ laptop/ tablet/mobile screen.
- Take the print of the same and bring it in your examination hall with an identity proof.

IIT JEE Exam Date & Scheme 2016 for Main & Advanced: Joint Admission Board (JAB) has confirmed the date for conducting the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced on 22nd May 2016 for admission to Indian Institute(s) of Technology. There will not be conduct single exam. Old process for admission to IIT, NIT & IIIT will be followed as JEE Main and then JEE Advanced.
The counselling for admission to IIT, NIT & IIIT will be conduct more than three time to fill the full seats of institutes. Through this process, there will reduce chance to vacant seats in institutes and lower ranks students will get benefited.
Now candidates can appear in re-counselling for change the college or branch if the candidates didn’t report in the college or not submitted the fee they will also benefited to appear in re-counselling again and again. The deposited fee will be adjust.
There will be Rs. 2000 fee for General & OBC (Male) candidates and Rs. 1000 will be charged for SC, ST, Third Gender & all category girls.
JEE Main 2014 online form will be start from first week of October, 2015.
Central Board of Secondary Education (An autonomous organization under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India) has decided that Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – 2016 for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in IITs, NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc will be held in two parts:
- JEE (Main)
- JEE (Advanced)
All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) has been renamed and will be known as Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main). IIT-JEE will be known as JEE (Advanced). All candidates shall take JEE (Main). JEE (Main) shall be gateway for JEE (Advanced). Only the top 150000 candidates from all categories (GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST) based on performance in JEE (Main) will qualify to appear in the JEE (Advanced) Examination. Admission to IITs will be based on category wise All India Rank in JEE (Advanced), subject to conditions that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in Class XII/ equivalent examination conducted by their Boards in applicable categories.
For admission to National Institute of Technology (NITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs)like IIITs etc. and participating Institutions; the merit/ rank list shall be prepared based on 40 percent weightage to school board marks in Class XII or equivalent examination and 60 percent weightage to JEE (Main).
